Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
At Telbot.cl we take your privacy and your customers' privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we process when you use Telbot, for what purposes and what rights you have. By using the service you accept the practices described here.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Telbot SpA, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 78.469.103-9, a Chilean company registered at 18 de Septiembre 525, office 302, Temuco, Chile, which operates the Telbot service (telbot.cl and telbot.ai). For any privacy question you can write to us at hola@telbot.cl.
2. What data we collect
Account data: name, email, phone and business name you provide when you sign up or request a demo.
Business data: services, hours, contact information and content you configure for the agent to answer.
WhatsApp messages: the messages your customers exchange with your agent, along with the phone number they write from, so we can reply and book.
Calendar data: bookings, appointments and events created in your Google Calendar through the agent.
Technical usage data: IP address, device type and activity logs, to operate and improve the service.
Browsing and advertising data: pages viewed, the ad click identifier, the campaign's “utm_*” parameters and measurement cookies, so we know which ad or channel brought each request.
3. How we use the data
We use the data to provide the service: answer messages, qualify customers, book appointments and send reminders on your behalf.
We also use it for support, to prevent abuse and fraud, to comply with legal obligations and to improve how the agent works. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.
4. WhatsApp and Meta
The WhatsApp channel runs on Meta's infrastructure and that of our connection provider. Message exchange with your customers is also governed by the WhatsApp and Meta policies, in addition to this policy.
5. Google Calendar
When you connect your calendar, we access Google Calendar only to create, modify or cancel the appointments the agent manages. We do not read or share other data from your Google account beyond what is needed to book.
6. Providers and third parties
We rely on infrastructure, hosting and language-model providers to operate the agent. These providers process the data only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. We do not transfer data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. Advertising and measurement (Google and Meta)
On telbot.cl we use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure our own advertising. They record the pages you visit and actions such as requesting a consultation, booking a meeting or starting the free trial.
If you arrive from an ad we store the click identifier (for example “fbclid”) and the campaign parameters (“utm_source”, “utm_campaign” and similar) along with your request, so we know which ad brought it.
Those same events are also sent from our servers to Meta's Conversions API, because the browser cannot always report them (for instance when you confirm your account from the email, on another device). In that call your email and phone number are hashed with SHA-256, never sent in the clear; Meta's cookies (“_fbp” and “_fbc”), your IP address and your browser do travel unhashed, because Meta needs them to match the event with the ad you saw. We never send the content of your messages, meeting notes, or your customers' data.
With that information we can build audiences in Meta so we don't spend ads on existing customers and can reach people similar to them. If you ask us to delete your data, we also remove you from those audiences.
This measurement lives only on our marketing site. Neither the business panel nor the conversations your agent has with your customers carry a Pixel, and those conversations are not sent to Meta for advertising purposes.
You can turn it off by blocking third-party cookies or using a tracker blocker: the site keeps working. You can also limit the advertising use of your data in Meta's and Google's ad settings.
8. Data retention
We keep the data while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal and accounting purposes. You can request the deletion of your data by writing to us; some records may be kept when the law requires it.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data, including encryption of sensitive credentials and access control. No system is 100% infallible, but we work to reduce risks.
10. Your rights
Under Chilean Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life, you may access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights write to us at hola@telbot.cl and we will respond within a reasonable time.
That same address works to request deletion of your data, including removal from our advertising audiences.
Chile's Law No. 21,719, which modernises personal data protection and takes effect in December 2026, broadens these rights (among others, portability and objection to automated decisions). We will keep adjusting our practices as it comes into force.
11. Cookies
We use our own cookies to make the site work (chosen language, session) and measurement cookies from Google Analytics and Meta: “_fbp” identifies the browser and “_fbc” stores the ad click you arrived with, for up to 90 days.
You can delete or block them in your browser settings. If you block them the site still works: we simply stop measuring where visits come from.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
13. Contact
If you have questions about this policy or your data, write to us at hola@telbot.cl.
